Personal Collateral Postcard
With this piece, I set out to create a personal collateral postcard. I wanted it to convey more than just my creativity, I wanted it to give a glimpse into my personality. I felt that showing my creative process would help exemplify what my thought process is when trying to capture such a broad conceptual range in such a simple postcard.
Though all of the thumbnails, I felt that showcasing my passion for typography might be an avenue to pursue. However, I felt that my process is a strong enough attribute of mine that I might aim for that direction.
Then it hit me, "Why not incorporate both together?" I thought to myself! This is the final postcard (front) that I developed through the creative process. It exemplifies not only my love for typography and process, but also attention to detail and layout design.
I wanted to tie the back of the postcard to the front in a creative way. I used the same crinkle paper texture on the back side, but much lower opacity to keep it subtle.
The final mockup was exactly what I set out to accomplish. It embodies myself as well as my endless creative possibilities!
